A restaurant concept 250 years in the making, Joel Lanes Public House will officially begin serving a full menu of pub-fare dishes, alongside a wide selection of local beer, bourbon, and fine wines on Monday, August 15, 2011. The tavern will be open daily from 11:30am until 2:00am. As sister establishment to Fayetteville Streets popular Isaac Hunters Oak City Tavern, Joel Lanes Public House will feature a finely-crafted menu with dishes ranging from Isaacs Famous Scotch Eggs to a Jalapeo Meatball Sandwich. Just as Isaac Hunters Oak City Tavern has brought the art of the expertly-crafted cocktail (and shuffleboard) back to Fayetteville Street, Joel Lanes Public House strives to return a tradition of quality pub food, served in a friendly atmosphere, to Downtown Raleighs Glenwood South district.
