Welcome to My Debbie's List

My Debbie's List is your new source for wine tastings, specials, and events presented by restaurants, bars, and shops in the Triangle Area. My Debbie's List is here to serve you and your friends so please let us know of any tastings, specials, or events that you would like added. And by all means please comment on the wine tastings, specials, and events you find as part of My Debbie's List.

The tastings, specials, and events will be posted here in our blog as well as on the calendars found on the bars and entertainment pages of RaleighNightOut.com. My Debbie's List will provide a long list of choices as it matures but here are a few ideas just to wet your whistle.

     Visit their tasting bar for a complimentary sample of any of their by-the-glass selections. Feel free to ask questions as their mission is to help you find the right wine for YOUR moment and to convert comfort seekers into adventurers!

Unwine'd Wine Bar
     Thursdays from 5:30-7:00pm. Fine wines accompanied by a light menu featuring appetizers, salads and sandwiches.


                                               BIRTHDAY SPECIALS

Irregardless Cafe located on 901 W. Morgan Street, in downtown Raleigh, offers a free bottle of wine on your birthday. Sign up on their web site and they will send you a coupon via email on the month of your birthday.

                                           TIPS & TRIVIA UNCORKED

Did you know there are over half a pound of grapes in a five ounce glass of wine?

Did you know the cost of a French oak barrel is 600-850 dollars and is used for 5-8 years?

If your looking for a good wine to have with your curry at Irregardless Cafe you should try Salmon Run Riesling from their wine list. This riesling displays wonderful characteristics of steely acidic backbone, floral elements and pear/apple notes.

This wine can also be enjoyed on its own.

If your looking for something different you must try the Annalisa Soave from Italy. Annalisa comes from the Soava region, is 100% Garganega. What in the world is Garganega? It is an Italian varietal that produces affordable,
