Welcome to Fai Thai, Chef William D'Auvray's inspired take on traditional Thai comfort food in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

We call it Fai Thai because in Thai, "fai" means "hot" as in fire. Here, we grill and slow roast over hot flames using coconut and mangrove wood for charcoal helping to bring authentic Thai flavors to our dishes. It's our interpretation of rustic and traditional Thai food, the kind you might find at street grills in Bangkok or the water markets on the Mekong River.
